Costa Rican authorities and experts from the public and private sectors receive a mission from Trinidad and Tobago to learn about the Costa Rican experience in the application of Good Agricultural Practices.
The event will bring together more than 200 representatives of government agencies, entrepreneurs, as well as industry and academic leaders, who will search for solutions to the primary issues that affect countries across the region in this area.
A joint initiative by the USDA, USAID, and IICA will enable countries of the region to enhance the quality and guarantee the safety of agricultural products throughout the agro-production chain.
With the support of IICA, the cocoa sector of this Caribbean country will continue to make progress in adopting good sanitary, trade, and production practices.
