Competition promotes climate-smart agriculture in the Eastern Caribbean States

Composting in Smallholder Agriculture: in June 2015, an initiative to promote composting as good agricultural practice in Grenada was launched by the collaborative Caribbean Aqua-Terrestrial Solutions Program (CATS). The activity was an initiative of a GIZ Project in support of the North East Farmers Organization (NEFO) in Grenada, and was done in collaboration with IICA.

Este estudio regional sobre género, CC y agricultura, se hace con el propósito de tener mayor comprensión de los conocimientos, actitudes, prácticas y políticas de las organizaciones en los países de AL para conocer más sobre sus gestiones y estrategias, en lo que refiere a la inclusión de género en las estrategias y acciones para el sector agropecuario que buscan hacerle frente al CC en AL. Este estudio proveerá una herramienta clave para proporcionar información sobre cómo las instituciones en AL están considerando el género, y para identificar lo que hace falta para que las acciones de adaptación al CC y las políticas que la habilitan sean inclusivas y sustentables.
