About this event

The Agricultural Policy of the Ministry of Agriculture of Brazil is based on a set of actions directed toward planning, financing and safety net for production. Such actions are divided into three main lines of action: risk management in agriculture, credit and marketing support and income security.

The panelists will reflect on future challenges for countries in the Americas on issues such as agricultural policy and  food security, productivity, natural resource management, climate change, social impacts (feminization, youth and  urban-rural migration), agricultural trade, and comprehensive risk management.
