Cornell University - College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS)

The Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) and Cornell University -College of Agriculure and Life Sciences (CALS) entered into a Cooperative Agreement in 2009 and the primary objective is to develop collaborative efforts to enhance the academic and technical interchange between and among the two Institutions, and thereby benefit the countries of the Americas and the two institutions. Recognizing the importance of mutual collaboration, and the contributions to society by institutions of research and higher education and technical cooperation, the partners desire to promote exchange between faculty, researchers, and students, and other personnel of the two Institutions, exchange of instructional research and other information, and jointly contribute to the sustainable development of global food systems, including agriculture, rural development, and the economic viability of selected industries and enterprises in the Americas.
