IICA organized a forum to discuss the interagency report that recommends that the G20 leaders act in favour of agriculture in order to improve its contribution to food security.
Interagency report recommends that the G20 promote investment and innovation in agriculture 12 cooperation agencies, including IICA, presented a report to the G20 in which they proposed specific measures to increase agricultural productivity and its support for food security.
Agriculture must be on the agenda at Rio + 20 It is not on the official agenda, but, in the judgment of the Director General of IICA, agriculture must be addressed during the deliberations of the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, which will open soon in Brazil.
