This course aims to train the staff of the Institute and Strategic Partners in the management and development of two technological tools: videoconferencing and online learning using the e-learning portal e-Vida (interactive learning environment for agriculture). The course is structured on three modules: 1. Basics of distance learning, 2. Tools for interactive communication, 3. Virtual environments for learning. The course responds to current challenges of development and technological innovations in the Americas. We are currently delivering: Rurual Development Manager with territorial Approach. (Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Bolivia) This course aims to develop joint management capabilities to promote rural development planning and is aimed at strategic actors who are part of the project "Models for Rural Development Planning Approach", which is implemented under the Project CESCA funded by the European Union.
	Recently Delivered Courses: Quantitive Risk Assesment of Animal Health. (South, Central and Andean Region) As a basis for decision making, risk analysis aims to improve control systems, and is useful in defining measures to achieve better health status and minimize production costs. In terms of international trade, risk analysis is a methodology recognized by the Organization for Animal Health (OIE) for the establishment of trade restrictions based on scientific knowledge and analytical methodologies endorsed. Thus, risk analysis transparent and facilitates access to national and international markets. The purpose of this course is to encourage the development of Competencies to provide for building a project idea, develop a coherent proposal and ensure they are familiar with relevant donor agencies, policies, operational procedures and how to contact them and negotiate with them. Purpose Provide IICA staff and partners the ability to forge a project idea, develop a coherent proposal and ensure they are familiar with donor agencies, relevant policies, operational procedures and how to contact them and negotiate with them.
