PROCINORTE in coordination with the Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Forestales Agrícolas y Pecuarias (INIFAP) in Mexico will carry out the 1st International Symposium on In vitro propagation and cryopreservation of Plant Tissues.  This event will take place 27-29 June, at the Centro Nacional de Recursos Genéticos (CNRG) in Tepatitlán, Mexico. The participants are senior level officials from several research institutions in the Northern Region, germplasm curators and scientists. One of the expected results of this seminar is to strengthen the network of researcher in this topic and promote more tri-lateral collaboration between the institutions.
